Starting in the 16th century, Strasbourg became one of the key cities in the Protestant movement. From the cathedral to Saint Thomas, this tour follows in the footsteps of Strasbourg-based reformers (Bucer, Capiton, Sturm, Calvin, Pappus, and others). It traces the political and theological context that led to the emergence of Protestantism and presents the various doctrines and their points of contention. This tour illustrates the originality and unique characteristics of the Protestant Reformation in Strasbourg.
